Every last moment is a gift … that’s why we call it “the present.” I’ve written many times about the mighty Sugar Paper x Target collab, because to me it truly encapsulates the idea of making quality stationery accessible to all. Here on the one hand, you have the affordability, scope and powerful geographic reach of Target. On the other, you have the exquisite styling and attention to every last detail that is the Sugar Paper signature.
That iconic California brand was founded by Chelsea Shukov and Jamie Grobecker 20 years ago this month. I still well remember working my way through a crowd at their National Stationery Show booth for my chance to peruse their fantastic letterpress invitation albums — and how tongues wagged throughout the community a few years later when Chelsea and Jamie announced that they would only offer them for a few select retailers. Now, nearly a decade later, the collab continues to bloom, most recently with an expansive everyday wrap release.
