Spring is here — as is the latest The Paper Society (TPS) box! This mailing in particular has the potential to become a modern tradition of the season, helping to fill the enormous gap left by no spring wholesale stationery market. Here, in this particular society, fresh, fun samples are sent free and directly to 200 top indie stationery and gift retailers across the country — AKA our TPS ambassadors — effortlessly livening up their merchandise mixes with hot-off-the-press offerings.
Stationery and especially greeting cards are such deceptively simple products. One may think all cards are essentially alike, but how does it feel in your hand? What type of imagery and copy does it feature? Is the card greeted or ungreeted inside, and is it foiled? Letterpressed? Licensed? Boxed? What role does sustainability play in its production? Any and all of these elements subtly set the stage for most meaningful messaging. As a result, this category is quite difficult to shop online and every offering merits close examination to really ‘get’ each brand.
Our latest TPS mailing is literally filled to capacity with 10 incredibly distinctive, dynamic makers. Each is sensational on its own, but together they provide retailers with a ready-to-go card wall in a box. But don’t just take my word for it, our ambassadors are already sharing their faves on Instagram — and they’re most pleased!
