Hey #NSS2017, #ShowUsTheMoney!

I am so excited to share this first batch of Legion Paper’s #ShowUsTheMoney gelt! This is FREE to all National Stationery Show attendees, you just have to pick it up as you walk the aisles — and then head over to Legion’s Booth #2633 to pick up a specially designed wallet to hold it all.

I actually have not seen it yet — Jill over at Parse & Parsel has graciously photographed all you see here and shared these shots with me. Follow her IG feed to see more of this (not to mention a whole lot more paper goodness)!

First up, we have at some point press & bindery, whose c-notes, issued by the Central Bank of Stationery, is printed on Mohawk Superfine Eggshell White. Love the watercolored flag, and the torch tips its hat to NYC’s most prominent female presence. Pick it up in Booth #1643.
The Witty Gritty Paper Co.’s cash has no denomination, it’s “whatever an island costs” — that’s handy! — but is issued by the proud nation of Stationeria. It’ll also get you free shipping on orders over $200 (real money only, please). I’m really excited to see it in person in Booth #1737. That snorting sound you hear is Porkchopstick Studios’ Squeely Bucks! I love all the layers of design elements — and really, the world needs more cobalt blue money — and it’s good for free shipping on one item. Pick up yours in Booth #1373!No promotion is complete these days without a unicorn, and Sparkvites is up to the task with its magical money letterpressed on yummy duplexed Sorbet Mango and Watermelon. To activate, visit Booth #1734, hold it tight, wish hard and hope for the best!

This year I am thrilled that Stationery Trends contributed a design, which actually came about as an internal design challenge where all of the Great American Media Services designers came up with a currency, which was then voted on by the entire staff. Here is the dreamy, deep sea result. It’s $10 to commemorate our 10 years of publishing Stationery Trends. Don’t miss Booth 2055 to get yours — not to mention our latest issue and a subscription!
I love Flair & Paper’s sweet ombre skyline, really a brilliant idea for currency. Hit up Booth #1861 to get yours along with free shipping.
Paper Acorn has issued Decoupage Dollars, that will get you two free cards per order. I’m looking forward to checking this vendor out in Booth #1469! Next up, get ready to be wowed by Alexis Mattox Design’s laser-cut submission on Curious Metallics Galvanized. Words are failing me, but I would recommend putting Booth #1409 on the top of your walking list — this cash will go fast! North Carolina’s own Little Lovelies Studio lives up to its name with this rustic bear on Revere Silk Warm White — and this is a true promotional piece. Free shipping on all orders at NSS, with 10% off all order over $300 and 15% off all orders over $500. Hit up Booth #1352 to check out their lovelies! Warren Tales used the dapper rabbit that graces its logo as the basis of its swank $6 bills, which will get you 6 free cards on any order over $200. Good deal I say! Head on over to Booth #1846 to see this clever range. Lovebird Paper Co. contributed this $1436 bill — which also happens to be its booth number! Again, I feel like the world really needs pink and red money — George Washington (not to mention Wyclef Jean) would approve of these!
Good Juju Ink’s $49 bill harkens back to the San Francisco’s Gold Rush Days — and this duplexed dinero is accordingly on Gmund Brillanca’s embossed gold paper. Love their elephant mascot on a cable car! Get your own gold in Booth #1550. Last up today, we have ilootpaperie’s Pierre in gold foil on Mojito Cocktail! This looks fabulous — their original submission almost does NOT do the finished product justice — and I can’t wait to get my hands on it in Booth #1662!That’s all I’ve got for you today, folks — but I’m planning on sharing more greenbacks next week. And of course, all this moola is free to all National Stationery Show attendees — but you have to be there to get it!
