One question I get over and over at market is, “So, what trends are you’re seeing?” The answer usually is, “I’m not sure — for now I’m taking pictures of everything I possibly can so I can make sense of it later, when I’m a bit less visually overwhelmed.”
And while it is only May, I am fairly certain that the design highlight of my year will be experiencing *Noted and SF NOW in San Francisco a few weeks back. So while I’m still puzzling over those trends, I wanted to share some snaps from my junket through this exciting new marketplace. Please note, this post is just the first half of the marvelous makers I’m sharing — today we run through M — and all shadows, weird lighting and funny crops are all mine.
So now I’m asking you, what are trends are you seeing?!? Meanwhile, I unfortunately neglected to shoot at least one booth — Hustle & Hope and Maginating, I was sure I took pictures in your booths and now I can’t find them!
If I did miss you, please give me a shout so I can remedy that. And finally, if you are now experiencing an acute case of FOMO — well, you’ll just have to come next year!
