Design trends are easy to spot, but longevity is a completely different matter. Sometimes a trend — like bows for example — turns out to be a flash in the pan. Others, like garbage bins, show no sign of going anywhere anytime soon.
I see pickles as part of a larger food trend — a delectable if heartburn-inducing cornucopia of tacos, boba tea, butter, bananas, cake, Diet Coke and all things pasta. It’s the Savoy Truffle in stationery form! I’ve been seeing plenty of pickles since at least Fall 2025, when I compiled some coverage on this salty trend for the Winter Stationery Trends. If anything, this trend has only deepened since then, so I’m sharing a few fabulous finds from there as well as several others below. While nothing can encapsulate the joy that is biting into one of these briny cucumbers, these do come quite close!
Whether you prefer sweet pickles or consider yourself of a Kosher dill connoisseur like myself, I can’t think of a tastier way to support small American indie brands as you preserve that pickle love!
