(Flowers) From Zurich, With Love

This past April’s Noted@*Noted Awards were very special, since, like the Louie Awards, they were actually celebrated in person for the first time since 2019. As such, there was a lot of excitement in San Francisco — but unfortunately not all the award winners made it to the festivities!

For example, Daniela-Karin Raffl of Zurich’s own Lykkefund Paper wasn’t able to make the nearly 6,000-mile trek — but her Flower Delivery card definitely did, and delivered in a very big way, taking the Noted@*Noted award for Best Card from a Rookie.

Here’s that lovely winner again, and here’s its description that accompanied Daniela’s entry: “The Flower Delivery card is inspired by my journey to Vietnam some years ago. It shows how flowers are often sold there on the streets, which always fascinated me. I created a lot of illustrations while traveling Vietnam but this one was always my favorite. I think it will deliver happiness to many people.”

So, now I really want to go to Vietnam to see these flower vendors for myself, but equally intriguing is that the above design is but one bit of Daniela’s vibrant spring release.

There is something really magical and a little dreamy about Daniela’s illustrations as I’m sure you will agree. I was lucky enough to get samples during judging, and they are even more exquisite in person (which any paper nerd will tell you is not always the case).

Each design was created to inspire, uplift, and connect people more often and in more meaningful ways, and with such a sensitivity to nature, you just know this is an earth-friendly range. Lykkefund’s printing methods and packing are completely eco-friendly, with compostable card sleeves made of corn starch.

For now, you can shop these cards at these stockists — and if you are looking to bring Lykkefund into your store, start here or on Faire. Free shipping and all import duties are covered by Faire, so delivering a hard-to-find range to your customers is easier than ever!
