<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When I spy flat notes in a maker&#8217;s mix, my heart always races just a bit. These pieces have a more sophisticated, professional polish to them than the traditional folded card. Here, even the shortest message gains stature as penmanship and printing mingle, with fantastic effect.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For that reason, I&#8217;m always thrilled to see another house of stationery throw its hat into this particular ring. <a href="https://www.shadesofexpressiondesigns.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" title="Shades of Expression Designs">Shades of Expression Designs</a> is distinguished by its artful, prolific designs — so it&#8217;s no surprise that this New Jersey maker puts as much careful thought into this release as it does to every last piece it prints.</p>
