2021Co. x Tommy Bahama

When a small-ish stationery maker collaborates with an enormous, legendary retail brand, that’s cause for a paper nerd celebration — but in this case, I’m officially in full swoon mode! This week, 2021Co. announced an exclusive and ongoing collection of elevated paper goods with lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama — and unsurprisingly, the offerings deftly translate the brand’s relaxed yet refined island life concept into sensational stationery form.

“We are honored to partner with Tommy Bahama, a brand whose relaxed sophistication aligns perfectly with our own design philosophy,” said Nicole Couto, Co-Founder of 2021Co. “Our mission is to help people connect on paper, and this collection brings together this vision and the spirit of coastal living and, we are so excited to share it with Tommy Bahama’s loyal customers,” added Emily King, designer and Co-Founder of 2021Co.

What you see today is but the first release within a curated range of greeting cards, boxed sets, journals, and chunky notepads. While the easy Tommy Bahama vibe clearly dominates throughout, at the core of every last piece is 2021Co.’s signature artistry and premium craftsmanship. The East Coast paper brand is less than a decade old, and while small, it’s already established itself as a stationery powerhouse within the community. 2021Co. also has an ongoing collaboration with the actress Jennifer Love Hewitt (maybe you’ve heard of her?) — and just won a Louie Award last week in Las Vegas for one of those designs!

Clearly then this is not Emily and Nicole’s first rodeo! Looking at this Coastal Service Marlin Flat Notecard Set, emblazoned with Tommy Bahama’s signature logo on the backside of each note, you can almost feel the cool breeze coming off the ocean. There’s a lot to love here, but personally that gold-foiled marlin at the envelope point demands a chef’s kiss from yours truly!

Enough editorializing from me, let’s check this collection out!

Wow! And again, this is just the first taste of a lot to come. “We are so honored to work with the talented product development team at Tommy Bahama, and these first products are just the beginning!” Couto exclusively told The Paper Nerd. “We have already shipped the 2021Co. x Tommy Bahama Holiday Collection and just finished design on Spring ’26, which might be our favorite so far!”

I just know this collab will get better and better with every release! For more information and to shop the collection, visit www.tommybahama.com or head to your nearest Tommy Bahama store. There are over 160 Tommy Bahama retail locations worldwide, 27 of which offer a Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar or a Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar! Postage stamps, however, are sold elsewhere (for now at least!).
