<p class="has-drop-cap">There are so many (valid) complaints these days about how women are depicted in the media. As the mom of an impressionable 13-year-old, they&#8217;re definitely not lost on me — so I’m loving the powerful, active and oh-so-beautiful Hip Chicks from <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Shades of Expression Designs (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.shadesofexpressiondesigns.com/" target="_blank">Shades of Expression Designs</a>. </p>



<p>These lovely ladies, shown here adorning greeting cards, journals and art prints, are definitely the masters (or is it mistresses?) of their own destinies!</p>
