When I spy flat notes in a maker’s mix, my heart always races just a bit. These pieces have a more sophisticated, professional polish to them than the traditional folded card. Here, even the shortest message gains stature as penmanship and printing mingle, with fantastic effect.
For that reason, I’m always thrilled to see another house of stationery throw its hat into this particular ring. Shades of Expression Designs is distinguished by its artful, prolific designs — so it’s no surprise that this New Jersey maker puts as much careful thought into this release as it does to every last piece it prints.
