Write for a Great Cause with Part & Parcel’s 50% Off Coupon Code!
There are a lot of greeting card subscription services out there, which is wonderful on several levels. However, founders Tessa McLean and Jackie Berkery built Part & Parcel with an eye toward connecting people who need it most — and who most likely aren’t even their customers.
To achieve this, they team up with a different non-profit each quarter. For every new Part & Parcel subscription purchased, a handwritten card is sent to someone who can use a little extra support.
Their inaugural partner is Girls Love Mail, which collects handwritten letters of encouragement and sends them to women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Girls Love Mail was a natural first partner, given our own experiences and understanding of the challenges these women face,” explained Tessa.
You can choose two ways to be a part of it: Either receive a pre-addressed, pre-stamped card in your monthly subscription delivery to write yourself, or Part & Parcel will write a note to Girls Love Mail on your behalf.
To be a part of it, just order a subscription by the end of June. A subscription regularly costs $25 and includes four cards, four seasonal forever stamps and free shipping. The subscription renews monthly, but you can skip months and cancel anytime.
“We don’t stick to one ‘recipe’ for every customer, which allows us to customize for our subscribers whenever we can and accommodate requests!” Tessa told me. “But, we do work with seasonality of course—for example if you ordered by yesterday we’d have included a Father’s Day card. We also don’t have to have “cut off dates” with this business model, which means we ship constantly so customers don’t ever have to wait on an order.”
As you may be able to tell, all cards are from independent designers, and Tessa and Jackie try and add a new designer at least every month. The cards going out this month include gems from Smudge Ink, Idlewild, Ghost Academy, Ruff House Art, Brockton Village and Antiquaria.
And, use the code PAPERLOVE for 50% off the first month of a subscription, that’s $12.50 for four splendidly curated cards and stamps, quite a deal! Also, be sure to swing back in July to see who Part & Parcel’s next partner is.
