In our distanced times, it’s always nice to hear from makers — but even better when they share some great new work! That’s what happened a few weeks back when Heather from Klinger Creative sent me a slew of fresh designs.
As always, her cards are distinguished by bright colors and positive messaging, with plenty of flora and fauna too. Kraft envelopes provide the perfect grounding element.
“A major perk of quarantine has been being able to spend lots of time working in my garden and getting inspired by the plants and animals and watching them change through the seasons,” Heather wrote me. “By incorporating more wildlife-friendly plants I was able to observe lots of creatures over the summer, including the butterflies, dragonflies, and bees that show up in my work.”
These are such lovely vistas to send out in the world! Like many other card makers, Heather has seen a renewed appreciation for greeting cards. “It was a rough year, but I was very heartened to see more people buying and sending cards and it has been a joy to help people express their feelings and stay connected. I hope these new cards bring lightness and happiness as we enter a New Year.”
